Nielson had got four sons from her earlier relationships, the eldest of them is Julian Winding, aged at 34 and the youngest is Raoul Ayrton Meyer Jr. aged at 23.

She along with her Italian Husband Mattia Dessi, 39 gave a joint statement that they are overwhelmed with the birth of girl child. They also named the girl as Frida.
