Relatives of no more actress claimed that she would have been alive if they would have got an ambulance on time.
Pooja Zunjar a 25-year-old Marathi film industry actress and her newborn died within hours in Hingoli district of Maharashtra because of unavailability of the ambulance for carrying out a child delivery.

The incident occurred at 6:30 am on October 20 in Hingoli District of State, 500 km from Mumbai of Marathwada region. Police officials reported that Pooja was rushed to Nearby Primary health centre in Goregaon her native place around 2 am on Sunday after she experienced labour pain. Pooja gave birth but the newborn died after a few minutes since the condition of newborn deteriorated.

The doctors at Primary health centre advised Pooja's family to relocate her to Hingoli Civil Hospital situated 40 km from Goregaon but the family members could not find an ambulance, they somehow managed to get a private ambulance to rush Pooja to the civil Hospital of Hingoli but the actress passed away during the journey.

Police took statements of Pooja's relatives and registered a medico-legal case. Pooja had played a lead in two Marathi movies and has taken a break from work due to Pregnancy.
